To show our support for England in South Africa we’ve teamed up with England’s No. 1 fan, The Queen, to create a FANtastic face-painting viral widget.
Our friends at The Sun online and Woolworths.co.uk both agree this is a great way to show support for our lads and both feature our widget on their websites.
We at Whamoosh! (and Her Majesty) agree that, so long as our goalkeeper manages to show a safe pair of hands from now on, and as long as our chunky prodigy “Wayne’s supreme” we’re definitely in with a good shout.
Please click here and join in with the fun. C'mon England!
Breaking News – it has just been announced that Her Majesty has commanded that Mr. Capello and his bunch of under achieving chumps be incarcerated in The Tower until we have safely qualified for Euro 2012. She is believed to be rather disgruntled that after telling us all she was England’s number 1 fan, and having her face painted with the George Cross she now looks as silly as the rest of us. “One is not amused!” she told us.

To celebrate the company’s first Valentine’s Day the Whamoosh! team teamed up with The Sun newspaper and lad’s mag Zoo to create two great widgets based on Valentine's Day to promote the company’s fantastic range of personalised greeting cards.
The widget created for The Sun enabled female readers to upload their face and turn into a Valentine Beauty reminiscent of the famous rose petal scene from the movie American Beauty; a great way to get their chosen guy to take notice of them!
The Zoo magazine widget was called "Your Ultimate Valentine's Night" and featured a storyline in which the reader became the character playing out what most guys would consider to be their ultimate fantasy date; getting it on with a gorgeous babe in a series of increasingly steamy situations! Both campaigns generated thousands of uploads and caused a real buzz within the online community.
The company’s patented Face-it!™ personalisation platform made it possible to create these brilliant campaigns, which is why Whamoosh! is unique in providing the best personalised greeting cards on the planet.

"Whamoosh! may be the new kid on the block as far as personalised greeting cards are concerned, but it's been a busy old time since we launched our personalised card website www.whamoosh.com a few months ago.
Apart from putting loads of great personalised greeting cards onto our website we've also created a man sized (okay a small man) Christmas card in support of our brave troops abroad. This card has been on Coronation Street to be signed by the cast (see pic), and it's currently doing the celebrity circuit and being signed by the likes of Terry Wogan, Chris Evans, Alan Titchmarsh, Paul O Grady, Jonathon Ross etc.
The plan then is that the Sun newspaper are taking it over to Camp Bastion in Afghanistan, with some page 3 lovelies, to give the troops a real treat (with the signed card of course). We'll keep you posted and no doubt bring you some more pics. (December 2009)
